Motorex is well-known in bike workshops but lacks strong visibility on retail shelves. They reached out with a need to enhance their brand presence in specialty bike stores, where limited floor space and high competition make in-store positioning a challenge.
I managed the entire process — needfinding, sketching, CAD engineering, factory coordination, client commmunication. I attended the Shimano Sales Conference in Irvine, CA to demo the prototype display and gather feedback.
I designed a modular floorstanding unit that displays 24 distinct product lines organized into their three-step bike care process. Optionally, the shelves and product hook array detach to hang on standard slatwall to save limited floor space while maintaining brand presence. To anticipate future product expansion, I designed height-adjustable shelves, making this display system a flexible, durable, long-term solution.
